Hillside “Prepare the Way”

 Our Vision is to “Prepare the Way of the Lord” within the hearts of young people, by providing discipleship through age specific ministry.

 Our Passion at Hillside is young people.  Every move of God recorded in scripture/history started with young people devoting themselves to One greater.  We believe that God wants to use this generation, not only to bring revival, but to one day change our culture as they grow into adults.  God is calling the young people of the Lake Cumberland and Green River regions to raise the standard of Christian living with our school systems and families. 

Our History started with five people, in a daycare, sitting in miniature, multicolored chairs, believing that God could revive a generation.  It was during this time we learned that God will use anyone who is willing to surrender  their life.  After a year of small groups in the nursery of the church, we began to outgrow our meeting place.  God blessed us with an opportunity to move our services into a local gym.  The time we spent ministering in the gym served as a training ground, preparing our hearts for the new youth facility that was being built.  We moved into our current facility in late 2007.  We feel humbled, yet blessed, to be able to meet in a building completely devoted to young people.  We truly believe that God is not done, that we have not yet arrived, and that there is more on the horizon!  Join us as we build a future for this generation!

 Our Challenge to students is simple: “Surrender your life to God!”
